Our Program

Geared towards children and youth ages 7-18, Nadar Por Vida serves primarily Latino and low income youth of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Nadar Por Vida serves as a bridge to competitive (high school and club team swimming) as well as success in other activities in school and life by helping kids dream, strive and achieve.

As a not-for-profit corporation, our program is entirely volunteer run. We rent out the entire Providence Rec. Center facility on Saturday nights from 6.30 to 8.30 in order to provide a judgement and distraction free, safe, community environment for our families and swimmers. Additionally, we provide our swimmers with the equipment necessary to make them look like swimmers.

We ask that each swimmer pay 10$ per night they attend and we make exceptions for those who cannot, but we do ask that you pay something -- this way you can really own your experience and your equipment.
